Interdenominational Devotion

A warm welcome awaits you at His Hands Extended Devotional.
Pathway Bookstore - Tuesday & Thursday mornings
7:00 am Cleveland, Tennessee

Prayer time at His Hands Extended Devotional.

Initiated on September 21, 1999, at 7:00 am, "His Hands Extended Interdenominational Devotional" seems to have found and filled a growing spiritual need in the Cleveland/Bradley County, TN community. The devotional provides fellowship, encouragement, teaching, praise in singing, worship in music, prayers and intercessions, as well as ministries of compassion, giving, and care giving. What is most remarkable, all of this is accomplished in the span of 30-40 minutes under the covering and inspiration of an obvious spiritual presence. The Devotional is attended by denominational leaders, laity, business leaders, educators, retired folks and many others who simply desire to begin their day "in the Spirit." On any given Tuesday or Thursday morning, we have anywhere from 14 to 17 denominations/churches represented.

The nature of the devotional is open. Inspired speakers from diverse spiritual backgrounds meet promptly at 7 am and share scripture text, personal testimonies, and prayer. From the beginning, thanks to Dr. Daniel F. Boling, Director of Pathway Publications, and his wonderful staff, Pathway Bookstore has been the home of the devotional. It is a convenient location and, due to its "marketplace" status, has proved to be neutral ground for an interdenominational worship service. There is liberty to worship together and "wake up" spiritually.

A lot goes on behind the scenes to keep the devotional going. Along with Pathway, the Cleveland Daily Banner and the WBAC Radio Network have greatly helped to promote the devotional. Delayed devotionals, along with selected music, can now be heard over the WBAC network each Sunday morning from 7:05 am to 8 am. The devotional can also now be heard over the following web sites: hishandsextended.com, hishandsextended.net, hishandsextended.org.

When in the Cleveland/Bradley County, TN area, you are cordially invited to attend the devotional. We trust you can be with us soon! We are a friendly bunch!
