Samaritan's Place Orphanage

Samaritan's Place Orphanage is a duly licensed non-government organization (NGO) by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the Philippines that provides "family style" residential care for orphaned, abandoned, and neglected Filipino children.

Samaritan's Place Orphanage was founded in October, 1998 by Marc and Marilen Morris. Marc and Marilen had a vision and a burden to help needed children and their vision has been fully realized.

Property to build SP was purchased in January 1999 and SP was in operation June 2000.

Located in Metrogate, Silang Estates, Silang Cavite, 30 miles south of Manila, SP consisted of three family style homes with a staff of three married couples, one for each home, three house helpers, one for each home, plus one social worker and one home care assistant.

Presently, SP is caring for 25 boys and girls, ranging in age from 3 to 15 years.
